Karl's professional life started in software development with him spending a number of years in designing and building spacecraft control systems. Since then, his work has spanned applications and infrastructure solutions consulting, service management and IT Operations in senior executive management positions. He has worked with a variety of organisations including Reuters, Philips and The European Space Agency. He has a practical understanding of delivery methods that work, extensive experience with in- and outsourcing models, infrastructure management and optimisation and service management. His industry sector background includes financial services, media, data analytics, aerospace and not-for-profit.
